Terms of Service

The rules for using Codegenix and what you can expect from us.

Draft — this agreement must be reviewed by legal counsel before general availability. It states intent in good faith but is not yet a binding contract.

Acceptable use

Use Codegenix to build lawful software. Do not use it to generate malware, to attack or overload third-party systems, to infringe others' rights, or to bypass the usage limits of your plan.

Your content and generated code

You own the prompts you write and the application code Codegenix generates for you. You are responsible for reviewing generated code before you deploy or ship it.

Third-party runtime licensing

Codegenix's preview engine uses StackBlitz WebContainers, which is not MIT-licensed. Hosting a public service backed by WebContainers requires a commercial agreement with StackBlitz. You are responsible for any licenses required by the dependencies your generated apps use.

Plans and payment

Paid plans are billed through Stripe on the cadence shown at checkout. AI usage may be metered against your plan's quota or your own provider keys.

Warranty disclaimer

Codegenix is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. AI-generated code may contain errors or insecure patterns; you must review and test it. To the extent permitted by law, Codegenix is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced before they take effect. Questions: legal@codegenix.dev.
